Kathmandu, Oct 11: The Nepali Army's rescue team has reached the areas hit by the flood occurred in Budhigandaki. 

As per the Public Relations and Information Directorate of the Nepali Army, teams have been dispatched to the affected regions both by air and land to carry out search and rescue operations following the flood. 

So far, six individuals have been rescued from Jagat village, which is currently at risk of landslide. 

A 'Composite Quick Response Team' from Kathmandu has also been sent by helicopter to the flood-hit area.

The people living near the river and in surrounding areas are urged to move to safer locations.
