Rasuwa, Oct 25: Authorities have speeded up a process to install a bailey bridge at Syafrubensi. The bailey bridge would be a motorable facility.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) and the local administration are coordinating to set up the bridge. 

Chief district officer Kamal Prasad Pande, and executive chief of NDRRMA, Dharma Raj Uprety, conducted a field visit to the various construction sites in Syafrubensi area which was destroyed by the August 26 glacial disaster.

A motorable bridge connecting Rasuwa district headquarters, Dhunche, to Syafrubensi was destroyed by the flash flood. A foundation has been built for the new bridge.

The local administration informed that works for the new bridge were going on round the clock so that the undertaking would complete before Tihar festival.

The District Administration Office has provided steel cable for setting up the facility.
