Gandaki, Aug. 27: The Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has reshuffled the province's council of ministers. 

The Chief Minister took the decision after the ruling partner CPN (UML) quitted the Pandey-led government in the province.   

Chief Minister Pandey himself would take the responsibility of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management; Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperative; Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and Ministry of Health after the resignation of the ministers of the UML on Wednesday.  

Nanda Prasad Neupane is given the responsibility of Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water, while Jit Bahadur Sherchan will lead the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Likewise, Rekha Gurung is assigned the responsibility to lead the Ministry of Social Development, Youth and Sports and Namdu Gurung as the Minister for Forest and Environment.
