Chinese assistance to flood-hit people
Kathmandu, Sept 20: The humanitarian assistance has been continued for the people hit hard by the August 26 floods disaster in Nepal.
A Chinese organization named 'China Foundation for Rural Development' began distributing relief materials to the flood-affected people in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.
The Foundation's team has intensified the delivery of the health and nutrition materials to the remote villages of those affected by the devastation.
The relief materials have been reached in Kalika Rural Municipality of Rasuwa and Bidur Municipality of Nuwakot.
Immediate health concerns and nutritional need were prioritized because it would take long time for the flood survivors to return to normal life, the Foundation officials shared.
The humanitarian aid included food and health items and 449 solar lamps.
